Warehouse bay lights for rent: metal, glass and bell shades

Metal and aluminum shades, and the pyramid bay

The aged metal L-0101 and the bright metal L-0139 both have SPECIFY notes that open with the cage, so either finish can be asked for with or without one; L-0101 then names a fixture hook and a stepdown, L-0139 a stepdown, before each note is cut off.

Where one of these metal or aluminum shades carries a ballast box, the book names its color: white on L-0557, metal, 17 inches across and 23 tall, and on L-0671, 22 inch aluminum with a stepdown and a fixture hook; gray on L-0615, 18 inch aluminum, also 23 tall; black on L-0573, a bright metal shade 27 1/2 inches across. L-0217 names no box: a 28 inch aluminum shade, 31 inches tall, 4 in the book.

L-0130, the pyramid shaped bay, gives no diameter or material, so its size has to come from the front office. Its count is split, 53 with a ballast box and 80 without, and its SPECIFY note prints whole, with or without ballast box, stepdown and fixture hook, so write the box choice next to the count on the hold list.

Glass shades: the HOLOPHANE lines and the 16 inch bays

The 6 HOLOPHANE lines in this table run from 10 to 15 inches across, 132 fixtures in all. At 14 inches the body is the choice: chrome on L-0125c, 22 in the book, or galvanized on L-0125g, 46. L-0579 reads the same as L-0125g with a height added, 16 inches, and has 3, but it is a separate line, so compare the two photos before counting them as one look.

The smaller ones give a height too: L-0239, galvanized, 10 inches across and 12 tall, 9 in the book, and L-0189, 12 across and 11 tall with a gray neck, 22. L-0479 is described as a warehouse bay with a glass shade/bowl, 15 inches across and 10 tall, 30 in the book; its book text adds HOLOPHANE #MB2A250HP27F1. One more line in EC's book names HOLOPHANE: L-0192, a ceiling mount with a 10 inch globe, listed with the Wall/Ceiling Sconce lights.

L-0163a and L-0163b are 16 inch warehouse bays with a glass shade and a ballast box, and the box sets them apart: larger on L-0163a, 35 in the book; smaller and ridged on L-0163b, whose SPECIFY note asks for gray or white and whose count reads 11 gray and 24 white. HOLOPHANE does not appear on either line as far as the book prints it.

Ballast box bays with a glass lens, and one exterior flood

L-0166, 22 inches with a gray ballast box, is counted as 40 with glass and 20 without, so say which on the hold list. L-0185 is 23 inches with a yellow box, 32 in the book; L-0438 is silver with a gray box, 17 inches across and 31 tall, 21; and L-0597, 21 inches with a gray box, lists a wire cage and a fixture hook with its lens, 6.

The exterior flood in this table is L-0374, 24 inches across and 17 tall with a plastic lens and a junction box, 5 in the book; it is listed under Flood Lights as well.

Bell reflectors, dual bells and the dual china hat bar

The bell shaped reflectors in this table are all 18 inches across: L-0134-1 is green with a single step neck, L-0417 has a glass bottom, and L-0134-2 names no color, neck or bottom. All three SPECIFY notes open with a stepdown; the one on L-0134-2 runs on to a fixture hook and a cord clamp, and the other two are cut off sooner, so check the rest of their notes with the front office. The 15 and 16 inch bell shaped reflectors are filed under Large China Hats, and the 8 and 12 inch ones under Small China Hats.

The dual bell warehouse bays carry two metal shades, 15 inches across each, with wire side hangers on L-0410a, 16 in the book, or solid ones on L-0410b, 24. L-0226 is a dual china hat, 18 inches across, on an 80 inch long bar with a 4 inch diameter slot for a pole, 7 in the book; the line names the slot, not a pole, and its SPECIFY note breaks off after its first words, so check the bar's options by phone or email before booking.

Across these tables, 18 inches is where the shade families meet: the bell shaped reflectors, the L-0226 china hats, the aged and bright metal bays and the aluminum L-0615 all share the diameter.
