How a rental works.
Build your pull list
Search the catalog, open the spec on anything that looks right, and add it to your pull list. Stock numbers, quantities and dimensions travel with each item.
Send it or call
Send the list to the front office, or call 818.764.2008 and read off the stock numbers. We will come back to you on what is available.
Account and COI
Rentals go out on an account. New productions complete the account paperwork and provide a certificate of insurance that matches the company name on the account exactly.
Will-call pickup
Pickup only, no delivery. Collect at the warehouse, 11846 Sherman Way, North Hollywood, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5.
Account, COI and will-call — the checklist your coordinator needs
- New productions open an account before first will-call. The company name on the account paperwork must read exactly as it will appear on your insurance certificate.
- COI required before anything leaves the floor. Certificate holder: E. C. Prop Rentals, LLC, 11846 Sherman Way, North Hollywood, CA 91605. Near-matches bounce at the desk.
- Will-call only, no delivery. Pickup and return at the warehouse, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5.
- Send the right truck and hands. Much of the stock is full-scale industrial; many pieces roll on casters, plenty do not. Liftgate or ramp recommended.
- Confirm availability at 818.764.2008 before dispatching a truck. Much of the stock is one of a kind.
- Returns are checked in against the pull sheet. Loss and damage is noted at check-in. After hours: 818.389.9149.
