Belt stanchions by post height, base and belt
Two belt lines run 12 deep, so a long queue of matching posts starts with one of them: S-2205, chrome posts on cast steel bases, each with an 84 inch black belt/rope, the look of a bank lobby or a ticket counter, or S-2253, yellow posts on gray plastic bases with pull-out yellow and black belts, which reads as a warehouse floor.
The black stanchions are singles and pairs from three lines, each with its own belt: red and black on S-2292, black on S-2461 and gray and black on S-2382. A queue of more than two black posts mixes stock numbers, and of those belts only the two on S-2461 are plain black; the book does not say whether one line's belt clips to another line's post, so ask before planning a mixed queue. EC counts S-2382 as "1 Functioning (2 Total)" and marks it MISSING PARTS; ask what is missing before it goes on a hold list.
S-2295, a 44 inch red post on a red metal base, says to specify what goes with it: the book lists a 60 inch red vinyl option and a 66 inch one before the line is cut off, so get the full list of choices from the front office.
| Stock number | Post height and finish | Base | Belt or rope, per the book | In the book |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S-2205 | 38 in, chrome | 12 in diameter, cast steel | 84 in long, black belt/rope | 12 |
| S-2253 | 38 in, yellow | 15 in diameter, gray plastic | Pull-out, 44 in long, yellow and black | 12 |
| S-2461 | 38 in, black; 40 in tall overall | 14 in diameter, black metal | 72 in long, black | 2 |
| S-2382 | 40 in, black; the line is marked MISSING PARTS | 13 in diameter, black metal | 48 in long, gray and black | 1 Functioning (2 Total) |
| S-2292 | 38 in, black | 13 in diameter, black metal | 94 in long, red and black | 1 |
| S-2295 | 44 in, red | 14 in diameter, red metal | To specify; the book lists 60 in red vinyl and a 66 in option, then cuts off | 1 |
Brass and stainless posts, the velvet lines they name, and a rusty pole
Neither the brass line nor the stainless line names a belt; EC's notes point both to separate velvet lines. S-2376 is 7 brass posts 39 inches tall and S-2375 is 6 stainless posts 35 inches tall, 13 in all, each with a 4 slot top, and since the finishes do not share a height, a matching line stops at 7 brass or 6 stainless posts.
Opening this category will not bring up the velvet lines: the brass line names S-2376A for red velvet ropes, and the stainless line names S-2375A for black velvet before its text is cut off. Look up each stock number in the stock book's search box on the home page, then add it to the hold list with its posts. Neither post line has a photo on file.
S-1862 is another kind of post: a rusty pole on a 15 inch wheel rim base, 37 inches tall overall, 4 in the book, with no belt or rope named, for a junkyard gate or a back lot.
| Stock number | Post height and finish | Base | Top, and the velvet line the book names | In the book |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S-2376 | 39 in, brass | 11 in diameter | 4 slot top; the book names S-2376A for red velvet ropes | 7 |
| S-2375 | 35 in, stainless | 11 in diameter | 4 slot top; the book names S-2375A for black velvet, then the line is cut off | 6 |
| S-1862 | 37 in tall overall, rusty pole | 15 in diameter wheel rim | None named | 4 |
Highway guardrail: 162 inch sections on three kinds of support
The G-0189 highway guardrail comes as 24 sections on three lines, each 162 inches (13 feet 6 inches) wide with three supports and three bases, and the support sets the lines apart: 24 inch wood on G-0189a, 11 sections; 32 inch wood on G-0189b, 8 sections; and 30 inch I-beams on 18 by 18 inch metal bases on G-0189c, 5 sections.
For a shoulder dressed on one support type throughout, G-0189a has the most sections, 11. Together the 24 sections come to 324 feet of width, yet no line says whether or how one section meets the next, so put that question to the front office before drawing a continuous run, and allow for ground cover wherever the bases fall in frame.
The table shows where each line's text stops, so ask what goes out with a section. G-0226, which EC's book calls a guardrail/barrier, is a yellow double rail 100 inches wide, listed below with the pipe barriers. The three G-0189 lines also appear under Barricades, home of the K-rails and metal crowd control barricades.
| Stock number | Supports, three per section | Bases, one per support | Where the book line cuts off | In the book |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| G-0189A | Wood, 8 x 6 in, 24 in tall | Wood, 24 x 12 in | After three 10 in bolts | 11 |
| G-0189B | Wood, 8 x 6 in, 32 in tall | Wood, 24 x 12 in | After three 10 in bolts | 8 |
| G-0189C | I-beam, 4 x 6 in, 30 in tall | Metal, 18 x 18 in | After three parts of 5 x 8 x 14 in, before it names them | 5 |
Metal rails on feet, 36 inches to 20 feet wide
At 43 inches tall, 8 rail lines share one height: 21 rails, about 151 feet of width in all. R-0189, R-0190, R-0191 and R-0192 read the same in the book apart from width, 36 to 96 inches on removable bolt-on feet, 12 rails and 77 feet of width, 7 of the rails on R-0192; R-0150a, R-0150b and R-0150c each have two 10 inch square feet, and R-0073 spans 20 feet.
No 43 inch line names a profile or a finish beyond metal, so matching across those stock numbers comes down to the photos, and all 8 have one. Below 43 inches, the 4 rail lines filed here run 25 to 41 inches tall: of those, R-0025 has the most rails, five at 10 feet wide and 41 inches tall, and R-0173, 2 inch diameter pipe 168 inches wide, is only 25 inches tall. These two tables are not all of EC's railing: R-0199, for one, is black and distressed, 75 inches wide and 41 tall, with no feet and no material named.
| Stock number | Width | Feet, per the book | In the book |
|---|---|---|---|
| R-0189 | 36 in | Two removable bolt-on feet, 4 x 4 x 5 in | 1 |
| R-0190 | 48 in | Two removable bolt-on feet, 4 x 4 x 5 in | 3 |
| R-0191 | 72 in | Two removable bolt-on feet, 4 x 4 x 5 in | 1 |
| R-0192 | 96 in | Two removable bolt-on feet, 4 x 4 x 5 in | 7 |
| R-0150C | 43 in | Two 10 in square feet | 1 |
| R-0150B | 48 in | Two 10 in square feet | 4 |
| R-0150A | 87 in | Two 10 in square feet | 2 |
| R-0073 | 240 in (20 ft) | Five feet, no size given | 2 |
U-shaped pipe barriers, a yellow double rail and square enclosures
The U-shaped railing/barrier units come in two scales: 6 inch PVC pipe, 60 by 32 inches, 5 in yellow (R-0146y) and 5 in gray (R-0146g), and 2 inch metal pipe, 30 by 36 inches (R-0130, 4 in the book), 14 units in all. Bollards and delineators are under Traffic Cones / Bollards.
G-0226 is one yellow metal double rail, 100 inches wide and 45 tall on two 10 inch square feet, and R-0148 is a pair of low square enclosures whose line names no material, so check its photo for the finish. Narrower yellow double rails with chrome caps, also 45 inches tall on two 10 inch square feet, are G-0227 (one, 83 inches wide) and G-0228 (two, 53 inches wide). In this category alone, yellow runs through 3 lines, 18 pieces counting the 12 S-2253 stanchions, the 5 R-0146y units and G-0226, so the posts, U barriers and double rail of one loading dock set can all read yellow; the S-2253 posts sit on gray plastic bases, and G-0226 carries 2 chrome caps.
| Stock number | What the book describes | Size | In the book |
|---|---|---|---|
| R-0146Y | Railing/barrier, U-shape, 6 in diameter PVC pipe, yellow, 2 elbows and 2 flanges | 60 in wide, 32 in tall | 5 |
| R-0146G | Railing/barrier, U-shape, 6 in diameter PVC pipe, gray, 2 elbows and 2 flanges | 60 in wide, 32 in tall | 5 |
| R-0130 | Railing/barrier, U-shape, 2 in diameter metal pipe, 2 flanges | 30 in wide, 36 in tall | 4 |
| G-0226 | Guardrail/barrier, double rail, yellow metal, 2 chrome caps, two 10 in square feet | 100 in wide, 45 in tall | 1 |
| R-0148 | Railing/barrier square enclosure, 2 horizontal bars; the line names no material | 36 x 36 in, 24 in tall | 2 |
Rails up to 20 feet long, and who carries them
In these tables, the lines past 12 feet are R-0073 at 240 inches, R-0173 at 168, the three G-0189 guardrail lines at 162 and R-0132 at 148. Read those lengths to the front office when calling ahead about truck size, which EC's pick-up terms encourage.
Since the whole order travels with the renter's crew, plan that crew on the pieces the book lists, among them two removable bolt-on feet with every R-0189 to R-0192 rail, two chrome caps on every G-0226, G-0227 or G-0228 double rail, a base under every stanchion post, and with every G-0189 section three supports, three bases and three bolts or parts, which is where its text breaks off. Ask the front office what else, if anything, goes out with each line on the order, so the load and the return count the same pieces.

Count the posts, name the velvet, pick the support
List each stanchion line with its post count, what goes with S-2295, the velvet line S-2376A or S-2375A beside the brass or stainless posts, the G-0189 line for the support the shot needs, and each rail by stock number, not by width alone, since R-0190 and R-0150b are both 48 inches wide and R-0192 and R-0029 both 96. Then check the whole list with the front office: "Must call or email to verify availability."
Questions on posts, velvet, guardrail and rail height
Which velvet lines go with the brass and stainless stanchion posts?
S-2376A for the brass posts and S-2375A for the stainless ones, by EC Props' own notes. S-2376, seven 39 inch brass posts, says to use S-2376A for red velvet ropes; S-2375, six 35 inch stainless posts, names S-2375A for black velvet before its text is cut off. Neither velvet line comes up when the Railing & Stanchions category is opened, so search S-2376A or S-2375A from the EC Props home page and add it to the hold list beside its posts.
How tall are EC's stanchion posts, and how long are the belts?
Across EC Props' Railing & Stanchions lines, the stanchion posts run from 35 inches (S-2375) to 44 inches (S-2295), with 4 lines at 38 inches, on bases 11 to 15 inches across. The belts are 44 inches on S-2253, 48 on S-2382, 72 on S-2461 and 94 on S-2292, and S-2205 has an 84 inch belt/rope; S-2295's line says to specify what goes with it, and the brass and stainless posts take separate velvet lines.
What supports come with the 162 inch guardrail sections?
Each EC Props G-0189 guardrail section is 162 inches wide with three supports and three bases: 24 inch wood supports on 24 by 12 inch wood bases for G-0189a (11 sections), 32 inch wood supports on the same bases for G-0189b (8), and 30 inch I-beam supports on 18 by 18 inch metal bases for G-0189c (5). The wood lines are cut off after three 10 inch bolts and G-0189c after three 5 by 8 by 14 inch parts.
Which EC Props metal rails share one height?
Of the 12 metal rail lines on feet in EC Props' Railing & Stanchions category, only the 43 inch ones share a height: 21 rails on 8 lines, about 151 feet of width, as R-0189 to R-0192, 36 to 96 inches wide on removable bolt-on feet; R-0150a, R-0150b and R-0150c, 87, 48 and 43 inches wide on 10 inch square feet; and R-0073, 240 inches. No profile or finish is named for the 43 inch rails, so match them by their photos.
